Friends and Foes
“Ugh…” Dentin gasped as the wind promptly left his lungs. “Wha…?” The guard captain of
Arucia was in a great deal of pain. He tried to speak, but to no avail. A hand slid over
his mouth and the knife in his side was twisted and pressed deeper. Everything started to
go black then he heard a voice, calm and pleased. “Fuck you.” The pain was excruciating.
He tried to open his eyes, but all he could manage to see was the silhouette of a man
standing over him. Dentin lay there for what seemed like hours, every once in awhile
slipping off to unconsciousness just to be woken up by a hard kick to the stomach. He had
never felt pain like this. Then, finally, nothing. Dentin was dead.
That felt great! He tried to speak, to find out what was going on, but I wouldn’t have it.
So, I covered his mouth and promptly turned the dagger I placed carefully between his
ribs. He would die there, alone and without a clue to the identity of his killer…slowly.
This bastard threatened my sister. He tried to…I can’t even write it. He deserved this.
Camile’s gonna be pissed…she’ll be grateful though.
